The Button Box™ UBC-1600 Universal Button Controller provides a powerful, programmable interface that allows you to easily direct and coordinate a variety of electronic devices. Its versatility, functionality and simplified button-driven programming provide you a new level of control and confidence, even in unattended display areas.
EASY PROGRAMMABILITY, In the Shop or On Site
The Button Box™ UBC-1600 ships with application software that can be rapidly downloaded into the unit. Programming is easily accomplished with a basic compiler, yet the Button Box™ UBC-1600 offers the flexibility of on-site reprogramming via laptop computer. And, for more complex projects, custom programming is always available from Entertainment Technologies. Once loaded, programming is stored in non-volatile memory, so it remains intact even after powering down.
DUAL PORT VERSATILITY
Designed for modular use in a wide variety of configurations, both professional and consumer electronic devices can be con-trolled by the Button Box™ UBC-1600. Professional devices connect through a pre-programmed serial port dedicated to LaserDisc Pro and DVD Pro players, VTRs, Sony monitors, Museum Technologies emulator, RS-232 communications, as well as other control devices. A second IR port is readily custom programmed to send commands to consumer equipment such as CD-i players, CD-Audio and mass-market DVD media.
UNRIVALED FUNCTIONALITY
The Button Box™ UBC-1600 offers infrared consumer-equipment interface technology and the ability to control lights, motors, fans, and alarms via an X-10 device. No other controller offers this level of functionality.
These unique features mean the Button Box™ UBC-1600 is well-suited to use in kiosks controlling point-of-purchase and point-of-delivery media, as well as in conference rooms, restaurants and bars, and home entertainment centers.
