Design Company C2
Design Company C2, an interior design firm, offered ET the opportunity to be creative in a limited medium.
The intent of the companies promo cd-rom was meant to be used not only on a disk but also on the web so it had to be designed in a versatile way. Images had to be eye catching but still be able to be downloaded quickly. The size was limited to a 640x480 screen which left little space for an image heavy design, and since image is what DC2 sells it was a tricky task.
ET resident designer Carrie Greno decided to use segments of each room DC2 designed to draw the viewers eye in. Showcasing color, style and mood without forcing the viewer to wait for each picture to load. This way the viewer could pick and choose designs they were interested in making the experience much more pleasant.
